I'm drawn to these long, expansive narratives that are often a challenge to resolve or difficult to pace or are unbalanced wrt plot and character and prose. And they're often disappointing or just not engaging enough to keep me past that magical 50-page mark.<BR/><BR/>The totality and unification of the modern built with the fractured postmodern?
